Great Learning Tool!I bought this book just a few days ago from the Author. He was wonderful and I think the book is too! It allows children the opportunity to learn their manners in a fun way. It is written very creatively and with wonderful artwork.
A Must Read for Toddlers and young childrenI picked this book us for my children age 2 and 4 at the time and this has been one of their favorites ever since. It's been almost 2 years and they still love this book. The boys have taken the book to school for show and tell and now all the teachers and other parents want a copy. It's a great gift. I promise, whether you have a boy or girl...they will love this book and it teaches them manners in the process! Recommend to all parents of young children.

Very FunnyDon't miss this one... you'll be laughing from cover to cover.
Corporate Drones are People, too!If you think that Dilbert is funny but doesn't go quite far enough, then you'll like this book. If you've ever skulked back to your cubicle after being dressed down by a boss who is only half as smart as you are, then you'll love this book. It does a very good job of lampooning many of the parts of corporate America that seem perfectly serious when you're at work -- and perfectly ridiculous after a couple of beers. Whether you need the Pontius Pilate Finger Bowl or the Organic Seat Saver (my personal favorite), this is the right catalog for you. There aren't many books that give me belly laughs, but this is one of them. It would be a perfect gift for your favorite back-stabbing colleague.

The textbook for Lacrosse playThis book is a must for any lacrosse player. It covers all aspects of the game from its history, to its play.
As a player one learns all of the fundamentals of the sport. Equipment, rules, plays, defensive and offensive strategies and techniques are all covered.
As a coach one gets a good foundation from which to build. It includes drills and practices to follow.

The Best Coaching and Playing ManualThis book is best for all players, beginning through advanced. The book focuses on both individual and team play. Great for coaches and players. The best Lacrosse manual I have ever read.

Great for beginnersI just love this book. I'm new to woodworking.
One of the things I like about this book, is the tips. It doesn't just show you how to put the project together, he gives you tips on making it last.
Although I thought the parts on wood selection would be boring, it will help me to select better wood at the lumber yard.
The pictures are in color and shows you the steps to complete the project. These are practical projects so there are not a lot of fancy trim details, which is great for a beginner. The hardest item is the arbor on the cover page and I think I could do that after looking at the book. Some of the projects will depend on the size area that you have. He doesn't give you a list of materials but tells you the size boards he uses or recommends.
If you're a beginner this book will give you confidence.

Comprehensive. Pratical & impressive projects for everyoneThis is one of the most informative and useful outdoor construction books I have seen. It is packed with practical and doable ideas to enhance the structure and beauty of any garden space or outdoor living area.
There is a great section on wood characteristics and making the right selection for your application. Joinery, hardware and finishes for outdoor use are covered in detail. Masonry foundations and heavy timber construction are also included.
Projects include borders, steps and retaining walls. Raised beds can add stable planting areas and decorating opportunities. Free standing structures include arbors, pergolas, trellises and fences with some great design ideas.
Excellent diagrams, step-by-step instructions, tool & safety tips, and a resource guide should help anyone with basic carpentry skills complete some very impressive projects. There is something here for any yard or garden.

The Art of the Good QuestionThis book is packed with 2000 questions on every imaginable business topic you can think of (and a few you can't!). Take a few minutes and browse the appropriate sections of "Leaders Ask Good Questions" to brainstorm good questions before a meeting. Not only is this book an excellent way to prepare for a meeting, it enables you to ask more thoughtful questions and, in many cases, raise issues that may not have been considered otherwise.
The author regulary adds additional questions to the books lengthy list of topics. One nice feature offered on the book's website ... is e-notification each time a new question is added to a topic.
"Leaders Ask Good Questions" is an excellent tool for making sure all the critical bases get covered in your meeting.

Provocative and profound exploration of neglected areaThis title lept at me and proved able to maintain my interest throughout. The author, a reconstructive surgeon by training, examines the activity of modern aesthetic surgeons. The results of this analysis are stimulating and important. This work will generate musch discussion among physicians and in particular aesthetic surgeons. It will also be of great interest to women and men considering or having had cosmetic surgery. Also, though this reviewer is not himself a professional philosopher, he believes this work will be of substantial interest to this group as well. This reviewer looks forward to future efforts by Dr. Isenberg.
Impressive first work by philosopher surgeonThis essay, compact and penetrating in it's arguments, is the first effort in the philosophy of medicine by this Yale trained reconstructive surgeon. In it the author examines the practice activites of modern aesthetic surgeons and demonstrates a number of significant moral dilemmas that arise from the same. This work is very understandable in it's prose making it appropriate for both the intellectual and lay person alike. It arives at a number of important conlusions which have profound impact for the present day cosmetic surgeon and his patients. The work is most highly recommended to all physicians and surgeons, other health professionals, philosophers, womens studies groups and anyone considering or having undergone cosmetic surgery.

Wonderful book to help you live your life fully awake.I worked through the many exercises and a visualization technique called "Image-Creation". This process 'imprints' on your mind those things that you want your life to be. Once you figure out what it is you really want out of life, and become focused on that want, the rest falls into place. It removes the doubt and confusion you have trying to make life changing decisions. This book arms you with the skills you need to make those decisions and know that you'll make the right decision.

WOW What a great book!I love this boook!!!!! Its easy to read, yet it goes into enough depth that you really learn about the insects. There's a whole chapter just on fireflies for example. Its the kind of book you can just pick up, read a chapter and say - wow, that's neat. (At least that's what i say) then I'll be outside and I'll be able to see whatever it is that I read about and understand so much more. So basically, the content is fantastic and the writing is so accessible that its not at all intimidating but also not patronizing. Its just very straightforward and so informative. I've learned so much. Its one of my favorite books and I wasn't even that into bugs before this. You won't go wrong with this one!
A bug book for all people.Howard Ensign Evans combines all the elements of a great writer (by any standard) in his 1966 book, Life on a Little-Known Planet. He has an easy and conversational style as he takes you across time and the globe investigating the secret life of insects.
My day to day contact with cockroaches, crickets, house flies, and dragonflies has become less of an irritation and more an opportunity to explore these ancient creatures. I have read and reread this book whole and in sections always finding Mr. Evans amusing, thought provoking, and readable. As a former elementary teacher, this book worked its way on to the playground and into my classroom replacing fear and disgust with knowledge and respect.

Encouraging and uplifting.This is one of the best books I have read this year. Scott is a great storyteller! The book is written so that you can read a few pages at a time or the whole book in one afternoon. Scott offers a great deal of scripture resources and prayer with each story. I would give this book to a friend going through some difficult days. Very inspiring!
A book that offers comfort.This book was recommended to me when my Father was diagnosed with cancer. It offered me comfort, hope and promise,to know that life goes on. One of the things that stuck with me about this book was the quote about death being a horizon limited only by sight. I have loaned this book to many people over the last 10 years and recently gave it away to a friend of mine whose father was murdered. I am hopeful that when I need it again, I will be able to find it.
